NY Keno Playslip=almost

Postby jimbo » Tue Apr 19, 2011 11:10 pm

Stan
got ny pick 5 ok.
cant seem to get keno. not worried about the extra boxes.

ny playslip ticket layout has
1 to 7, first row, 11 rows follow
last row is 78, 79, 80 with the extra boxes<

my ticket properties in el shows the same layout.
1 to 8 first row. with 10 rows, like pic
nos 8 and all the nos under it need to be shifted down to the next row

i'm stumped.

anything i can try
thanks
jim

please email me a screen shot of the keno playslip. probably you'll have to modify the playslip layout definition manually as the wizard doesn't support this kind of layout.

ok, this is actually my fault. i didn't know the actual playslip layout when setting up pick 10 lottery so i made it up:)
i've uploaded fixed lottery to our website so if you use the lottery wizard to create a new pick 10 lottery, you'll get the correct layout and you'll be able to define playslip printing.
alternatively, you can open pick 10 lottery.xml file in notepad and change the count of panel columns and rows to 7 and 12 respectively.

edited xml file. layout is close. dont need the 10 boxes under the 80 boxes. in fact there not on the NY slip.
the QP and void boxes in NY keno playslip i really dont care about either.

other than that it shows up in ticket panel in ver 5 like the attached pic.

but when i go to into edit the dimensions it still prints out like the pic in my earlier post. 8 cols and 10 rows.

thanks

those boxes are for showing masked numbers only.

that's because you have started with the playslip before fixing the lottery setup. look into the ny keno lottery folder, there should be .playslip file. open it in notepad and change the panel columns and rows the same way as you did in lottery.xml. that should fix the problem.
