Upward or downward adjacent numbers

Hi,

What about stats that could track whether adjacent number went up or down ? For example, if there is number 41 drawn, then number 42 (if it is the only adjacent) would be considered as an "upward adjacent number [1]" and respectively if there was number 40, then it would be a "downward adjacent number". What do you guys think ?
