Entering Positional sum range is tedious :(

Entering Positional sum range is tedious :(

Postby mindy20 » Tue Sep 19, 2017 7:23 pm

Hi!

Whenever I want to enter Positional Sum Ranges, I have to

tick 1, tick 2, enter min sum, enter max sum.

Next:
tick 1, tick 3, enter min sum, enter max sum.

Next:
tick 1, tick 4, enter min sum, enter max sum.

Next:
tick 1, tick 5, enter min sum, enter max sum.

All this ticking is tedious and frustrating. Can you please change the interface to something like for 'Number Distance' checking, whereby we can enter minimum and maximum sums for all positions in one go?

Thank you very much in advance!

Well, in the Positional Sum Range filter the two input fields do apply for all ticked positions. Am I missing something?

But the two input field values should rarely be the same for all positions. That'd be an absurd coincidence.

Thank you so much for your quick responses! Always appreciate those!

I'm still confused. In Positional Sum Range filter window you are ticking which ticket positions should be included in the sum calculation. The calculated sum then must be within selected range. So if you tick all the positions you get the same filtering as when using regular Sum Range filter. Having a separate range for each ticket position doesn't make sense as there's no sum to be calculated from a single number in that position.
