How to do this filter combination ?

Postby Hitman » Sat Nov 04, 2017 1:26 pm

Hi !

Let's say we want in any ticket to have maximum 3 consecutive numbers which means between 0 to 3 consecutive numbers in each ticket.
Now let's say we are gonna set another filter to have maximum 3 numbers ending in the same digit (e.g. 23, 33, 43, 12, 9, 6) which means, again, between 0 to 3 these kind of numbers.
With these two filters above together we succeed in reducing some tickets.
Now, I want to know: How to combine these two filters in such a way that there will never be any ticket with 3 numbers of the same ending digit and another 3 numbers being consecutive in the same ticket ? How to avoid that ?
1,2,3, x, y, x => where x,y,z are NOT consecutive and NEITHER ending in the same digit
OR
13, 23, 33, p, q, r => where p, q, r are NOT consecutive and NOT ending in the same digit either.
These filters will eliminate the following tickets:
1,2,3, 7, 8, 9 ( maximum 3 conseutive, indeed, but there are two groups => avoid this ticket !)
1,2,3, 15, 25, 35 => avoid this ticket because it has both 3 consecutive and same ending digit group.
13,23,33, 18, 28, 38 => only 3 numbers ending the same digit but there are two groups => avoid this kind of ticket !
Allowed tickets by these filters:
1,2,3, + only between 0 to 2 (or any other setup!) of the same digit numbers or consecutive numbers.
13,23,33 + only between 0 to 2 (or any other setup!) of the same digit numbers or consecutive numbers.

How to do this, please ?

Thank you !

Hello Hitman,

Perhaps you can set up a complex filter, which includes both of your filters, and have at least one of them fail ( the option will show when you select the "Complex Filter" cell). Maximum count of filters to pass = 1.

Hi Hitman,

Wouldn't you create a complex filter using REPEATING DIGTS and CONSECUTIVE NUMBERS and create
them with the condition you want to eliminate with.

- Run the filter
- Save the results to a package file
- Then load a full package
- Then insert the first package file and select the remove option

Maybe that will work ..
