It's probably a program limitation for some lotto's, as the EL Demo Lotto for Keno has it disabled as well.

It is not keno, it is a 12/30 TEST lottery created by myself. The EL software is full version too.
What is the problem?
I tried to create a package of 12 combinations taken from 20 numbers not from all 30 and this feature is still disabled. Also tried to filter the 12/30 combos by their consecutive numbers and the "Best tickets" feature is still disabled.
What am I doing wrong?
Any help, please?
Thank you in advance!

Depending on the lotto, if the package has to many tickets it will be disabled. I tested this under a different lotto, and when I lowered the package to a certain number of tickets, it is enabled again.

This filter must load all package tickets into memory to filter them down. So there's a limit on the max count of ticket in the Package for the action to be enabled. The default is 1000000.

Thank you for explanation!

When you close and reopen Expert Lotto that had saved a Package with over 1 million tickets, the "Best Tickets..." filter is still enabled when it should be disabled(bug?). In my last reply, this is why I was guessing it had something to do with the lotto being used.

Hello.
Following what you are commenting about the 1,000,000 limit, I want to express that I do not agree.
I have tried to take out the 15 best bets on 1,906,884; C=49,5,5,5 and after a lot of hours it has taken me out those 15 bets:
43,44,46,47,48
43,44,46,47,49
43,44,46,48,49
43,44,47,48,49
43,45,46,47,48
43,45,46,47,49
43,45,46,48,49
43,45,47,48,49
43,46,47,48,49
44,45,46,47,48
44,45,46,47,49
44,45,46,48,49
44,45,47,48,49
44,46,47,48,49
45,46,47,48,49

Which are perfectly in line with what the theory says.

And now, does anyone know why the Insert Ticket File does not pick up the bets in the Package and always gives me Zero? I think that since I have been using it, it has only worked a couple of times.

Thanks

Hi poxitul.

The 'Best Tickets...' filter should be greyed out(disabled) when you insert over one million tickets in a package. However, there is a bug. If you you insert over one million tickets in a package then-> close and reopen the program, the 'Best Tickets...' filter will automatically be re-enabled when it should not be. If you use it then it may work, but it will use very high CPU resources and may also cause EL to have errors. Recommend not using the filter if the package is over one million until the bug is fixed.

Can you give an example of how your using the Insert Ticket File? It could be a .file extension issue(.csv, .txt, .xlsx, etc.).
