Do we have a filter to cater for this? What percentage of combinations in a 6/40 game would be even?

To answer my own question. It's a 50/50 thing.
For even sums - you need to have 0,2,4 or 6 odd numbers.
For odd sums - have 1,3 or 5 odd numbers.

Is that the simplest (or only) way to do it?

'Odd/Even Sum Range' filter will work.
