filter min-max 0 to pass

filter min-max 0 to pass

Postby exoterikos » Tue Jul 22, 2025 12:55 pm

We have a simple filter. I want none of the groups to pass. In the definition of min and max of filters to pass, the absolute value 0 cannot be set. Then we go to matching tickets accept-reject. The logic says that if we choose reject, those that are outside the limit 1-6 will be returned, so those that satisfy the limit 0. However, whether I choose accept or reject, the same tickets are returned. What am I missing?

I have the same issue. Looking to find a working workaround, but no luck. Time consuming, frustrating when trying to find out if this or the other combination works. The absolute value min: 0 max: 0 is very critical very important but can not be set. There is not such a choice, and not a reliable workaround. STAN SHOULD DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. MIN 0 AND MAX 0 VALUES MUST BE MADE AVAILABLE.

According to what I researched, [0] to [0] will not work for the Min/Max pass settings. It has something to do with how the operators NOT/AND/OR work in the EL group hierarchy. So to reject the accepted sub-groups in the first post's screen shot, change filter group "1" to [Reject] and then 'Run' the top "Filter Group" and it should work. Let me know if you need more info.

tdnl46w you are absolutely right. When change filter group "1" to [Reject] and then 'Run' the top "Filter Group" it works very well. My mistake was that I set filter group "1" to [Reject] and then i was running filter group "1" and not the top "Filter Group". Thank you very much!
