Next , I would export the Sums to the MetaTrader 4 charting program "History" folder.

To do this you need to make sure you have the MetaTrader plugin installed in Expert Lotto 5.

Go to the Main Menu at the top and select Tools > MetaTrader 4

Step #1 "Output Folder"
The "Export Statistics to MetaTrader 4 window will open. Click the "Browse" button and select the folder name where you installed MetaTrader 4. In the screen shot below my folder name is C:\MetaTrder4 Pick 3 PA.
Statistics will be exported to: C:\MetaTrader Pick3 PA\history\ExpertLotto5
Click the Next button at the bottom


Step #2 "Draws"
Click the Select button and Select draws to export. In this example I selected 1000 draws.
NOTE:
If your Pick 3 lottery does not have 1000 or more draws you will need to adjust this figure.
Click the Next button at the bottom



Step #3 "Statistics"
In the Statistics scroll down until you see the "Winning Numbers History" category. Just below enter a check mark in "History Sums"
Note: make sure there are NO other check marks in any of the other boxes. The only information we want is just the "History Sums" only.
Click the Next button at the bottom.



Step #4 "Options"
The Options we want to place a check in the box to the left of "Random Value"
In the "Value offset:" box we want to change the value to 0.0
Click the finish button at the bottom

The "History Sums" are exported to the MetaTrader 4 "history" folder.

Screen shot #1 is the folder where I downloaded and named the folder where the MetaTrader 4 program resides.



Screen shot #2 is the "history" folder where Expert Lotto 5 sends the "Sums History" files



Screen shot # 3 is the list of the named "history sums" files in the ExpertLotto5 folder

The "ExpertLotto5" is important to remember and I will explain in a later post.

Next I would open the MetaTrader 4 charting program by clicking the "terminal.exe" file in my C:\MetaTrader4 Pick 3 PA folder. You can also create a shortcut on your Desktop.



When the MetaTrader4 platform opens you will see the "Open an Account" screen will open. Just click the Cancel button at the bottom.



You should see another window open "MetaTrader 4". In this screen we need to enter the following in the "Server:" box. Enter "ExpertLotto5" (without the quotes)
Place a check in the Save account information
Click the Login button



We will be using "Offline Files"

Close the MetaTrader 4 charting program.

In the next post I will give you instructions on where to download and install the "range" indicator.

Place these 2 files into the following folder:
C:\MetaTrader4 Pick 3 PA\experts\indicators folder

MetaTrader 4 program will allow you to create templates and profiles where you can save your chart properties such as background colors, indicators, etc.

When I created my charts I saved each of the Levels 0 through Level 10 Sums charts as "Templates" then saved the entire set of Templates as a "Profile".

If anyone is interested in using the Templates and Profile that I use download the following files to the following MetaTrader4 folders.

Note: Make sure you download the Range Indicator that I posted previously.

I will create a new Pick 3 game for the Georgia Pick 3 lottery game.

This game will include both the Midday and Evening draws.

I will create the game in Expert Lotto 5 showing step-by-step instructions.

Step 1:

Open Expert Lotto 5

Step 2:

Go to the Main Menu at the top and select File > New Lottery

1. Select Lottery
Click the radio button "Create other lottery"
Click the "Next" button at the bottom

Step 2: name

Give our game a Name, Description, Country, Web site.

Click the Next botton

Step 3: Type

In this step we create the Type. Since the Georgia Pick 3 drawing contains 3 different machines that contain the numbered balls 0 through 9 in each of the 3 machines we need to select "Each number from a separate pool"

Step 4: Number Pools:

In this step we select 3 numbers ranging from 0 through 9

Click the next button at the bottom.

Step 5: Draw Dates

In this step I selected the "Draw Number, Day, Month, Year

The reason I selected this option is in the event the Georgia lottery decides to add a bonus drawing.

Click the Next button at the bottom.

Step 6: Schedule

The Georgia Pick 3 game is drawn Midday and Evening 7 days a week I checked all the days in "Numbers are drawn on"

The 1st drawing in my data history file is Aug 10 1993. So I entered this date in the "Lottery started on:

Click the Next button at the bottom

Step 7: Winning Combinations

I did not make any changes

Click the Next button at the bottom

Step 8: Ticket Panel

I adjusted the Ticket Panel to match the Georgia game card from their official web site.

Clicked the Next button at the bottom.

Step 9: Destination

In this step I kept the default setting C:\Users\Steve\Lotteries\Georgia Pick 3 Combined Draws

Clicked the Finish button at the bottom
