Where is the Function of Back-test in Filters of V5?

Postby lottoboy » Sat Jul 31, 2010 3:28 am

Hi, Stan:

I'm doing some backtests for my lotto game by using V5 now. But I can not find the function of Back-test in all Filters of V5.
Where is the Function of Back-test in Filters of V5 as in V4??? Thanks.

Best regards,
lb

Stan,

I feel the view of Back-test in V4 is clearer than V5’s.(see the attachment)
Could you still use the Passed & Failed to show the draws in V5 as in V4? How can expanding the size of view in V5 as in V4? For example, I can look at and analyze 49 draws each time in V4 but it’s only 29 draws in V5.(see the attachment)
We need to watch and analyze the draws as many as possible on the same page because it’s very useful to find their statistics. Thanks.

Best regards,
lb

Stan,
To expand the view of Back-test, I have used the function of Undock Window in the Bar of Window.
But it’s still 39 draws on the same page. Could you change the size of up area of # pool to be adjustable (see attachment) as we can change the size of windows from left to right by moving the mouse. Thanks.

Stan,
It’s very clear and convenient to analyze the statistics of history occurrences as many as possible on the same page instead to use the scrollbar. In fact, this is my strategy and to be successful for filtering a lots tickets safely from the Package in my backtests. But now I can not use the strategy well since the view is not good in V5.

Lottoboy, as stan has said you could buy a Higher Resolution Monitor, or another solution if your Monitor and Video Card support it, is to set your monitor to Portrait Mode instead of Landscape, that way you'll be able to see more rows without scrolling, not that using the scollbar is all that inconvenient. On one of my 24" monitors I can get 97 rows, if I span monitors I get over 200 rows of data.

Savage_Rottweiler,
Thanks for your suggestions. My PC is new one and the monitor is 20".
The change of view mode from P to L is inconvenient in playing the game. In fact I think Stan can change the up area of the page to be adjactable easyly.

Stan,
You are so funny! I think to change the up area of the page to be adjactable should be not big case to you. shouldn't it?

no, it's not a big case.
i can spend a few days redesigning the user interface so that you can see extra 20 rows in back-test results table OR you can use the scrollbar to scroll the table up/down

"use the scrollbar to scroll the table up/down" is not good idea according to my experiences by using the strategy of ANALYZING THE PATTERN ON THE VIEW.
Stan, I do hope you can pay attention to analyze some special pattern in the BT Table since these are very reliable information for filtering strategy in the BT Table.
For example, the Lotto Flag Formation: PFFPFFFFFPFFFFF; PFPFFFPFFFFP; PFFPFFFFFPFFFFFPFPFFFFFPFFFFFP...etc

Stan,

In fact, the function of Back-test in both filters of general and statistical is one of the most excellent features in EL Program. There are a lots reliable patterns which are predicting much information very clearly for next draw such as how the rows are hitting, which rows are on a hot streak, which rows are cooling off, which rows are long shouts, which rows have been out the longest, …etc in the BT Tables Of cause, how can find these special patterns is a strategy which depends on the setting selection, the visual performance in the Table and your experiences,…etc

For example, we can click the button of Leave surely and remove 1543542 tickets from the Package safely according to the pattern in the BT Table. (see attachment)

Lamentably, not only you have canceled all Back-test Tables of Statistical Filters (I see, it‘s huge to correct those.) but also weakened the visual performance and operational convenience of all Back-test Table of general Filters in EL5.

I do hope you can renew and enhance the Function of BT for both filters of General and Statistical in EL5 in the near future.

Best regards,
lb
