Copy compound or group filters

Postby sliver » Wed Dec 13, 2006 8:02 am

Stan,

is there an easy way to copy compound or group filters from one pc to another? Does EL store the saved compound/group filters on the file system and if so where ?

Yes U can copy the filter from one pc to another

u can find the stored compound filters in Folder FILTERS in Lotto ( where u installed EL) Usually C:lottofilters and file is Filters.XML

The File stored with extension of XML

jus copy and paste it where u want

Hi,

does anyone one know how to copy individual compound or group filters from one filter file to another?

I don't think this is possible to do with the compound filter plug-in ?

That's not possible Sliver,

you can do one thing, jus take copy of that filter and Edit the copy of that filter in El and remove all filters except that compound/group filters that you want to leave.

Hope stan will provide that option to merge N number of filters into single filter and split them into many as well?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorting in the new compound filter works OK and I appreciate this addition.

However,I am afraid I do not know how to use Append from File option. What can be appended and from which file? And how to do it? My attempts to append any of the compound filters result only in building error log file.
