I seek a method to use the Fibonacci numbers in lotteries.

Does anybody have some idea?

Hi Paulo,

Because of their distinct pattern, Fibonacci numbers can be used in lotto for creation of a number group filter. Numbers 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34 can be used for games with 35, 39, 42, 45 or 49 numbers.

You can use Match Numbers Filter (click Leave, check appropriate Match boxes, click OK).

Before using this filter, examine how Fibonacci numbers performed in the history of your game. Probably you can do it using Expert Lottto, but I prefer using for this purpose Lotto Architect, Number Groups Manager/Design for Field Main Numbers, Design Group function. (This is probably one of the best features of Lotto Architect).

In Australian Saturday Lotto (6/45, 1124 draws) from 0 to 4 Fibonacci numbers were drawn on any occasion. And even though 4 Fibonacci numbers were drawn only on 8 occasion, I set Match Number Filter to leave from 0 to 4 Fibonacci numbers in the ticket. It is my choice. If you want to reject more tickets, use a different setting.

To reject more tickets you can create variations of Fibonacci numbers which preserve similarity to the basic pattern. You can do it by adding 1 to each number:

2, 3, 4, 6, 9, 14, 22, 35
3, 4, 5, 7, 10, 15, 23, 36

Continue until the numbers start repeating. When you reach the highest number used in the lottery, it should be replaced by 1 in the next line. You can build this way 45 group numbers for lotto 6/45 and arrange them in a compound filter.

Similarly, you can use other special group numbers known in the mathematics because of their patterns (Lucas numbers, primary numbers, polygonal numbers, and other special numbers).

This way you can create hundreds of combined Match Number Filters, capable of filtering out approximately 1 million tickets from 8145060 relatively safely.

Most of the Winning combinations contain 1-4 Prime Numbers

It would go to figure as, in a 5/36 there are 12 prime numbers, 12 numbers is 1/3 of the total numbers in a 5/36. In a 5/39 there are 13 prime numbers, 13 numbers is 1/3 of the total numbers in a 5/39. In a 6/49 there are 16 prime numbers, 16 numbers is 1/3 of the total numbers in a 6/49.

just an idea using Prime Numbers Groups / Fibonacci Number Groups to find "another winning digit" that shown some consistancy like FL 5-36 for 221 or 24 WD (Winnning Digit from average 6)

i mean
2 number groups --> 2 patterns (range 1-18, 19-36) same as Low High
3 number groups --> xx patterns
5 number groups --> xx patterns
7 number groups --> xx patterns
9 number groups --> xx patterns

In Nunber Groups and Range, I have created compound filters for Prime as well Fibonacci Numbers. That gave major redecution from whole package, its working effectively 80% of time
