this is great, thanks Stan.

I reckon that in my lottery - UK Daily Play 7/27 - this strategy can reduce the complete set of tickets by half - safely

Stan.....thanks for this filter! Now, not only are we working with the WNHistory vertically(by col.) but now we can work with it horizontally as well. Cross referencing the WNHistory like this, along with other filters we normally use, makes EL a very POWERFUL PIECE OF SOFTWARE!!!

One enhancement that I would be looking for in this filter.......Is there a way that you could set a max # by column.
Example: Counts: 7 to 12
History Differences: 1 to 1 (only dealing with row #1)
Max # by Col.: 3 (this would mean that it would only match a max of 3 in each Col of row 1)
I have found that a match of 4 happens very rarely in my lottery.

Would like to hear from others on this idea.

Great work guys for comming up with this idea!!! Working the WNHisorty vertically and horizontally WILL get someone the Jackpot!!

Stan,

In WNHistory > Summary > Max Segments.

What does

3/24 (-1)
3/22 (+2)

indicate?

ok, but you can substitute this option with the segments filter - just set the first segment size to 1...

that's a new experiment - let's assume that the largest segment in any column has e.g. 25 numbers. then statistically there should be 3 numbers from that segment in the next draw (in a 6/49) lottery.
so the values in the summary table are x/y (z) where
x is the statistically expected count of numbers from the largest segment
y is the largest segment size (the count of numbers it contains)
z is the difference between the expected count of numbers (statistical probability) and the actual drawn numbers from that segment

Hi stan,

Can we have one more option percentage(%) of Min Max of avg values in HD filter.
Becoz the counts of numbers are varying in each results. So finding the avg will be useful.
This one little option will be valuable and effective.

for Example:-
For Row #1 :- There are 7 winning Numbers( with duplicates) occurred from total counts 54. So the Avg% will be 7/54 = 12.96%.

in my another result , in Row #1, There are 7 winning Numbers occurred from total counts of 62. So now the Avg% will be 7/62 = 11.29%.

I hope filtering the ticket by its Avg% too helpful to reduce more.

Thanks,
Joe

Hi stan,

and one more option request in this filter like. Min Max of Match (0,1,2,3,4,5,6) Numbers in total columns.

In my Excel sheets, atleast two columns having Match 1 and and max of 7 -Match 1

so the filter will be Match 1 in Row #1 will be Min 2 to Max 7

We can see atleast one Match 0 is found in Columns in each rows.

And Match 2 Numbers in Columns is Min 0 to Max of 3 or 4.

Match 3 Numbers and Match 4 in columns will be Max of 1 only in row #1.

And We can safely remove Match 5 and Match 6 as well.

This filter will be applicable for each row. often we dont find any Match 2 and more found in all above 7th rows

You can check it and please consider if this filter makes worth to be implemented. I hope this too really helps more.

Please let me know if this is not clear,

Thanks stan,
Joe

I think it gets a little more confusing when I want to filter select rows.

For example: If I want ot use the filter on row#1, then filter row#4, then filter row#6. I already use two different segment combinations, and adding three more, I'm afraid I may lose myself.

Thanks for the consideration!!

Stan,

When you say largest segment are you referring to Segment 1, 2 or 3 indicated at the top right corner, the "end values" which are set in preferences.

Hi clem,

I am looking forward your new ideas on my Excel sheet.
I am still finding how to predict inc/dec for columns using this.
[/quote]

My idea didn't really produce anything. But here's the idea anyway. Maybe it can spark someone elses thoughts. But after looking at your spreadsheet, I noticed that most of the time, most of the winning numbers would decend to a particular row. For instance, in one of your spreadsheets wn's 8-9-11-19-32-38), most of the winning #'s dipped down to either row 8 and/or 9. And your other spreadsheet you posted, most of the numbers fell to rows 8,9 and 10. My thinking was, if we could backtest our particular game and find the common rows these winning numbers decend to, we could just concentrate on those rows in all cols 0-10. That would eliminate alot of numbers. But as I mentioned, it didn't really produce what I was looking for.
