NEW FILTER: Mathematical Sequences Filter

Hi

Here is an experimental user contributed filter to try out. Please note this is version 1.0. Supports up to 100 ball lotteries. Statistics are not yet supported in this version. Please report bugs in this thread.

Mathematical Sequence Filters

Contains the following mathematical sequence filters:

Lucas Numbers
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucas_numbers

Numbers: 1,2,3,4,7,11,18,29,47,76,123...

Triangular Numbers
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triangular_number

Numbers: 0,1,3,6,10,15,21,28,36,45,55,66,78,91...

Square Numbers
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Square_number

Numbers: 0,1,4,9,16,25,36,49,64,81,100...

Fibonacci Numbers
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fibonacci_number

Numbers: 0,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55,89...

Powerful Numbers
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Powerful_number

Numbers: 1,4,8,9,16,25,27,32,36,49,64,72,81,100...

Palindromic Numbers

Numbers: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 22, 33, 44, 55, 66, 77, 88, 99

Trimorphic Numbers

Numbers: 1, 4, 5, 6, 9, 24, 25, 49


You may choose the type of mathematical sequence filter from the drop down, then set the Min and Max balls.

eg Prime Numbers (2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, 29, 31, 37, 41, 43, 47 ...) set to Min 2, Max 3

Ticket:
10 - 19 - 20 - 22 - 23 - 37 PASS (contains 3 prime numbers)
10 - 19 - 23 - 37 - 47 - 49 FAIL (contains 4 prime numbers)
10 - 12 - 16 - 23 - 28 - 46 FAIL (contains 1 prime number)

PLEASE FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS IN THREAD "How To Install Plugin" for installation instructions

Timmac~

You filter does not work on Pick 3 game. Does it only work on lotteries of 5 or more ball sets?

Thanks for reporting this, which lottery are you using to test this? I can investigate and fix. It should work on pick 3 lotteries too.

This has now been fixed and Pick 3 games are supported and a new version 1.2 uploaded - please download attachment from opening thread message for a new version.

Thank you for giving us new Mathematical Sequence Filters
Which reduced the package by the following criteria.

Prime Numbers
Lucas Numbers
Fibonacci Numbers
Square Numbers
Powerful Numbers
Triangular Numbers

As you given an example of prime numbers is as below
Prime Numbers are (2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, 29, 31, 37, 41, 43, 47...)

Please could you tell me what are the rest number, which is (Lucas Fibonacci, Square, Powerful, and Triangular Numbers)?

You could add much more sequences such as:

Thanks for these suggestions and ideas of further sequences - I think it would make sense to implement the top ones which have a decent amount of numbers in the sequence. I feel if the sequence only has a few numbers (4) then it might not be so beneficial to have them since they'd only affect a very small base of tickets altogether.

Now can view the analysis of the tickets

The Tim Mac Filters will appear at the top of the Ticket Properties window so that you can find them easy. The statistical properties are now available for this filter - and also Ticket Analyser / Predictions is supported.

ISSUES: Settings aren't remembered when in Custom Analyser

Hello
I have tried to install the filter as stated but the program says "the plugin installer found problem timeout" and does not install the plugin in my system. Any ideas of why this might happen

You can probably ignore that message and just restart Expert Lotto. The plugin should be installed anyway.

Tim, you need to tick 'Needs restart on install' in plugin properties (in Packaging category).
