Java 7 Version 45

Hello All,
This is just a heads-up for you.
I just updated to Java 7 Version 45 and it corrupted my Internet connection.
I tried everything I knew, but finally had to do a system restore.
I use Win 7 Pro, so your millage may vary.
Just wanted to let you know ahead of time, if possible.
You might not have problems, maybe just my setup.

Very likely related to Java plugin in internet browser. Just disable or uninstall that plugin and you should be good.

I updated Java to version 45 prior to your information and so far I haven't noticed any problem with that.

It probably isn't the browser since I could not even get a connection to my service provider. The modem would not connect.
When I did a restore, everything was fine, I did a hard reboot of the modem and it connected right away and has been working good. Thanks for the reply.

Glad you didn't have problems. Mine might have just been a glitch when I updated. If others don't have my problem I will download the update from the site and install it that way. I updated through the Java update app. Never liked doing that, should have known better. Thanks for your reply.

Same result Stan, but the solution was in the bin folder. It had EL64bit and EL application. I used the EL to open it up so I made a shortcut to that one. I'm running Win7 64bit but I can open it now so I'm happy.
