Hi Stan,

I would like to say thanks for providing access to the application activity log file to users so they can audit, analyse, document and track use of filters and their settings.

What I would like to request is that activity logging for filtering on statistical properties does not record
the actual filter that was applied nor the settings used in that filter analysis. Please refer to image below:

However the activity logging does occur for non-statistical filters and that is a great piece of detail and information for analysis.
Please refer to image below:

My request is can you add specific detail around the statistical filter that has been applied and the associated filter setting used ?

Cheers

Do you mean filtering from chart windows?

HI Stan,

What I am referring to is the Winning Numbers Statistical Properties Analyser. Please refer to the images below:

If you use any one of the available statistical properties filters and after applying the settings to any one of those statistical filters
the filter name and filter settings is not logged but a generic reference is given as detailed in the image below.

Image

For example I could have used the Ticket Numbers filter and sorted on the Occurrence column with largest to smallest and then selected
the top 5 occurrences over 25 draws and applied the following settings:

At least 1 to 3 in each ticket:

Once again the Application log file will not have any of this information logged other than a statistical properties filter had been applied and
the resultant package size reduction along with other system data such as filtering speed.

If you can change the logging activity to include the name of the filter applied as well as the settings that would be appreciated much the same
details as what is provided when normal filtering of tickets is performed.

For example if I am using the MATCH NUMBER filter the application log file will capture the filter used and the settings applied. Please
refer to image below:

Hi Stan,

I just wanted to revisit this thread again and once again appreciate how you have included additional details I requested in the Application Log File. As such now I would like to
request another enhancement to the log file in addition to what we have now and would like to also see details of the "select draws" setting that were applied in that filter.

Please see attached image below:

Do you have an example where the info is missing? For example when you apply a single filter you do have the description of past draws selection available.

Hi Stan,

Thank you for your reply. Please refer to the image below where this information is missing.

From the previous image I have supplied I filtered on "1 - 9" draws and used the TICKET NUMBERS filter. As you can see from
the application log there is no detail on what draws were selected.

Thanks and Regards

Stan,

In the Application Activity log file I see reference to information about filters used

INFO [ACTIVITY]: New package content: 2141505 tickets.
INFO [performance]: Filtering speed: 9816829/s

Would it also be possible to include the time taken for a filter to complete its task please?

ie

INFO [Duration]: xxx seconds

Thanks
