Random & Dummy numbers

Could you please explain what is meant by "RANDOM" numbers as far as Expert Lotto is concerned. I take it by random numbers you mean ones which the player actually selects? Most lottery systems refer to " RANDOM" numbers as being numbers which are selected Randomly or without any particular method for their selection, to be used in a system of some sort. (usually selected at random by the program.)
Could you also explain what is ment by "DUMMY" numbers as far as Expert lotto is concerned. Are these numers that are contained in every line of a system? ..............often refered to as key numbers??

RANDOM Numbers
There are no random numbers in Expert Lotto as such. The only random number generator is in the Ticket Generator, which can generate tickets with random numbers. However once generated, there's no way to tell which ticket was generated by the random number generator and which ticket was entered manually.
Besides the Generator there's no other random element in Expert Lotto (except for the Random Selection filter) so all results are reproducible.

DUMMY Numbers
dummy numbers basically allow 'masking' of one or more ticket number positions. so instead of the 6 regular number tickets may have only 5 (or only 4, 3, 2) numbers. this way you can turn a 6/49 lottery into 5/49 lottery (or 4/49 lottery etc). all expert lotto functions - filters, statistics - process tickets with dummy numbers as well (there's only a few exceptions).
dummy numbers have many uses:
- you may generate all combinations of 5 numbers only (instead of six) and then filter these only.
- you may load your favorite wheel into the package and use the dummy numbers to 'hide' e.g. numbers 34, 12 and 48. then you would some more filtering and replace dummy numbers with regular numbers
