WNH Segments

WNH Segments

Postby laurontario » Fri Feb 29, 2008 3:56 am

Stan,

would it be possible to allow the user to change the value for the first segment so that it starts from zero?
I mean, I would like to be able to have two segments only instead of three. Is this something that can be done easily? I know that changing the min vlaue on the spinning button is a piece of cake but I don't know what other implications are behind the scene.

Thanks,

Laurentiu

You can set the Segment defaults Seg 1 to 1 and Seg 2 to 1 this would give you 2 segments to work with the first row in all columns and the rest of the numbers in Seg 3, Segment 2 would always be 0 and you would have only 6 possible segment patterns to deal with.

Thanks Padawan, but I need to look at two segments - first one ending at ten.

What I am trying to achieve with this:
I track how many numbers from most current draw appeared in the last ten draws. Last time there were 4, and this is the 5th time in a row. Chances are very slim for this to happen again next time. I wanted to find a way to filter out those combinations that include x (in this case, 4) numbers drawn in the last 10 draws.

Set you Segment defaults to Seg 1 10 and Seg 2 10, you will only be dealing with 2 segments 1 and 3, segment 2 will have no data. Statistics>Winning Numbers>Repeated [10] will show you how many numbers came from the last 10 drawings and show you which numbers were drawn.

EL doesn't allow it. The min value for seg2 is seg1+1. If I put Seg1=10, Seg2 starts at 11.

Go to Lottery > Preferences > WN History

then change the default value for:

Default size for Segment 1: 10
Default size for Segment 2: 10

click OK.

Now go back to WN History tab and click Update to see the changes.

Good lucks,

when reading WNH-Segment, segment pattern represent jackpot number, and segment preference only a "cut point" of number history

first segment pattern:
Pick 3 = 3 (0,1,2,3)
Pick 4 = 4 (0,1,2,3,4)
Pick 5 = 5 (0,1,2,3,4,5)
Pick 6 = 6 (0,1,2,3,4,5,6)

EL allow any segment preference and the impact of segment size is occurrence in segment pattern, for example FL Cash 3 seg1 = 10 and seg2 = 10

All, thank you!

I love you, guys and I love EL too (and, of course, I love Stan and his team for putting together this wonderful software)!
