Padawan,
The History Differences filter is based on segments (like many other filters).
Number count:
- is the count of the expected next draw winning numbers which are contained in the range of History differences that you use, in the columns that you use. You can use all columns or some of them, just select appropriate checkboxes.
The possible Number count is from 0 to 55 for pick 5 and 0 to 66 for pick 6 lotto.
History differences:
- is a range of history differences rows that you want to work with.
Entering the same rows as default segments (1-6, 7-12, 13 and above) makes using this filter easier, but with other ranges of rows special results might be possible.
Numbers in a single column:
- it relates to the count of expected winning numbers in a single column but within the range of rows that you use. From 0 to 6 winning numbers can originate in any segment of a single column (in pick 6 lotto, from 0 to 5 in pick 5 game). You can use the 0 to 6 (0 to 5) setting or try 1 to 5, or maybe 2 to 4.
Even numbers:
- it relates to the content of even numbers in the Number count that you use. The proportion of even and odd numbers in a single segment is usually different from general proportion of O/E numbers in the jackpot ticket. To arrive at the right setting you probably need to prepare statistics in Excel ( content of Even numbers in each segment, counted in all columns that you want to use, depending on general proportion of O/E numbers. Even numbers setting could be useful if a specific O/E number proportion is due (e.g 3/3). To avoid decision regarding even numbers you can enter the widest setting possible - from 0 to 66 or from 0 to 55, which would accomodate any proportion of even numbers (at the cost of decreased filtering power).
Good luck.
