that means you're running java runtime version 1.4. i already fixed it so it'll work for you now but if you upgrade to java 1.5 you'll get better look and feel and also slightly better performance when running expert lotto.

Build 659 is available

* added 'number distance' filter
* the 'panel' filter has new options to specify min/max values
* it's possible to view compound/group filters as a tree hierarchy. this works both when applying and constructing compound filters. it should greatly improve back-testing of these filters as you can quickly find the failing part and fix its parameters
* it's possible to insert 'ad-hoc' compound filters as a filter part when creating new compound/group filter. that means that clicking the 'add' button when creating a compound filter offers an option to add a sub-compound/group filter. such sub-filters part won't show in the main filter menu so it should reduce the clutter there.
* some bug fixes

that's correct. coloring is unchecked for column 'sum' and there's no background coloring for this column in your table.
the coloring is per-column and the options window shows coloring settings for the currently highlighted column.

Your right Stan! I went back and highlighted that column and saw the filter checked. Didn't know I could do that for each column, this is great. I guess I got alot to learn yet, and I was the first user to join the forum I believe. So many tools, so little brain :red:

sorry, i thought it was obvious... (and that's why you can choose the color for failing draws as well)
it'll be described in the manual later on. maybe i'll try to rearrange the options window somehow...

Hi stan,
With the New Zealand lotto the panel filter rows can not be set lower than 2 min, so it fails to pass 26 draws when previewed.

Hi Stan,

Good new filter there...I like it very much. ('number distance' filter).

Just 1 question...why can't I add a Position filter to a compound filter? That would be handy for back-testing.

Greetings.
