Just 1 question...why can't I add a Position filter to a compound filter? That would be handy for back-testing.

Hello again,

Well the steps are simple. I open a package, create a new compound filter. then I try to add one of the position filters...and I get an error alert. It doesn't work.

See attach...this is the step where it blocks.

Greetings.

Hi Stan,

There's no error message as such. It's just an alert "beep", like one of those beeps you don't want to hear. There's no error log as well...so I can't figure out why....maybe I'll try on a PC to see if there's a difference.

Maybe it's a Mac only thing...although it's Java ?!

Greetings

Hi again,

I checked this issue on a PC and it's working on PC. :-(

Since Java updates (if that should be the problem) come from Apple I guess there won't be a fix that soon.

But for the fun of it I'll try the perf test on my iBook G4 this weekend :-D

Greetings
