Hi Stan!
Below is a example of statistics of announcers with draws from
the Expertlotto 6/49 - copied from Exp.lotto statistics

As i understand it the standard way to count the total occasions of
trailing numbers is to count each occurence of announcing number
with each of the following numbers.

Example:Assume we shall find the total occurences of trailing number
12 :Take the first num in latest draw(6) and find all occurences of 6
followed by 12=(1),13 is followed by 12 twice(2),14 followed by 12
(1),19 followed by 12 (3),41 and 42=(0) -this sums up to 7 occurences
of trailing num 12 in this period.
Total occurences of Trnum 23 should be 6.(I have not counted up
the rest of the numbers)

The way the statistics of occurences is calculated in Exp.lotto now is to count each occurence of any announcing number.
I hope you understand the differences in this methods.

i'm not sure what the question is.

anyway, in expert lotto's implementation the 'announcers' are the latest drawn numbers (in the selected range of winning numbers draws).
the statistics table then shows the occurrences of 'trailing' numbers, the means numbers from that draw that *follows* a draw containing announcer number(s).

pls let me know if you think the above is not correct.

ok, i got it. you are correct, expert lotto counts only one occurrence of each trailing number even if it was 'announced' by more than one number in the previous draw.
i guess your interpretation of announcers/trailing numbers is better so i'll fix it in the next build.
thanx for the note!

* modified the trailing numbers stats as trust suggested
* some minor bug fixes
* improved some statistics chart (wn history charts and some charts for the winning numbers stats - sum, stddev, ticket postions etc). now you can drag the range lines to define value range and open the appropriate filter window directly from the chart. the filter button is visible only when the chart window displays only one data set.
