EL/tmp directory

Just browsing through the different directories in EL and noticed that there are 75 files in the tmp directory taking up a total of 2Gb hard disk space. Is there any reasoon why I shouldn't delete these files.

delete them. tmp dir is where expert lotto keeps its package contents and if it doesn't shut down correctly then the files are not deleted.
