There are different ways of creating and posting images... Here is one that is (IMO) fairly easy.

1. Set your window that you want to take a screen shot of. Either a maximized screen or a window set by you.

2. Hold down the 'ALT' key and the 'PRT SCR SYS RQ' key (which can be found next to the Scroll Lock key).

3. Now open the MS-PAINT program then either CTRL + V or Edit --> Paste

4. If the screen shot that you see in MS-PAINT is what you want then --> File --> Save As

5. Then in the Save as type: change it to JPEG (*.JPG;*,JPEG;*.JPE;*.JFIF)

6. In the file name type in WHATEVERYOUWANT.jpg

7. Open a browser and go to http://www.imageshack.us/ (there are others just google for them) and upload your photo.

8. Get your link to the upload from your email that imageshack.us sent you and copy it (CTRL + C).

9. Go to the Expertlotto Forum and start a post then click on the IMAGE button and and paste your link in-between the brackets like the example shown below

[-img-]MYLINKFROMIMAGESHACKGOESHERE[-/img-]

10. Then preview to view your image or just reply and your done.

I hope this helps.

should you want to copy just an area of a screen, try printscreen 2000.

still have to save it as a file, but should you want to just capture a portion or a block of something, its pretty neat.

its free

Hi Maryland

Go here for some fine free screen shot programs

----> http://www.snapfiles.com/Freeware/gmm/fwscreen.html

There is a wealth of other fine stuff on this reputable site

I personally use "Hypersnap" which I bought some years ago. However, the premium screen capture program is consudered to be "Snapfiles" It can also capture certain video. Rather expensive for what it does tho IMHO

Many thanks for all your fine posts in this forum

Good Luck

PS

Be sure to hit the "Freeware" tab on the top right side of the screen for the freeware programs otherwise you will be taken to the "Shareware and Commercial" programs.

OOOPS !! Just can' get it right this morning.

Where I mention the premium screen capture program as "Snapfiles " it should be "Snagit"

Find it here-- http://www.techsmith.com/snagit.asp?CMP=KgoogleSgen82tm

Sorry about that.

I have no interest in this or any of the other programs
