I'm sorry I cannot post all errors about the segments even there are still lots of those in the EL. I'm not sure such problems exist in my EL only or in other member's EL? Please check!

I get the same problems in the areas that you show. Why? I don't know.

Sure, this is a real problem when we're making an analysis for BT.
Only Stan is the right person to answer and resolve it I think.

In addition, how can I open my "Check Spelling" in the Compose post?
Padawan, thanks for your nice and sincere help again!!!!

Best,
lb

Compose in word or outlook express and spell check there then copy and paste to post.

Hi, Stan:

I know that you are very busy for our V5 recently but could you take a litter time for answering my problem above? Also, the results of Back-tests of Statistics for any filters in my EL are very different when I recalculate the Stats each time even using the same setting and date. Why? If the problems come from my new PC with a quad-core and Vista OS? I’m looking forward to your reply now. Thanks.

Best,
lb

found the problem, fix is on its way.

the backtesting of wnh segments is wrong - the filter itself and the stats are working correctly

Hi, Stan:

Thanks for your sincere attention!!!

Do you want to lease the 4.5.6 or V5 for the correction?

Stan and All:
2) Also, I find the result of the Statistics is very different from the Segments Filter in WNH. For example, after I clicked the Calculate Stats for WNs only, I opened the window of WNH Segments in "Show Stats for,"
then I highlighted the line of 4-1-1 in Column -5, clicked the Filter on the left coner, clicked the buttons of Back-test or Leave/Remove, the both running results of BT & Filter should be same with the results by using the Segments Filter in WNH Page for same column and segment. But they are very different in my EL infact. Why?
[/quote]

filters invoked from statistics are 'dumb' filters meaning they won't back-test correctly if their stats value were calculated from past winning numbers.
fixing this would be a lot of wasted work so you'll have to wait for version 5 to get it working properly

I see. I do hope the V5 is coming soon.

In addition, I have found other strange phenomenon in my EL running.
I will post those in the Forum later.
