When I publish something on the forum, I focus on the issues not on the people. If I criticize something, I can criticize the software and the strategies, but not people. Do you feel that I attacked you personally?

If my reasons for reporting the problem with this filter are not obvious to you, please consider the following:

You asked us to report the bugs, so I reported the problem that I found. I would be unfair to you and unfair to all the EL users if I kept this information only for myself. You would not know so quickly what is wrong with this filter. Of course, you could discover this problem for yourself later on, or a different person could report it to you. For the EL users it would be a discouraging and depressing experience to get a good filter but a wrong instruction. If you follow the instruction you lose the jackpot ticket. And some people want to put money on the tickets obtained with this filter.

If you feel that I reported the problem with the filter inappropriately, or that I was unfair to you in any way, please accept my apology.

Thanks Joe, but the updated version appears to not filter at all. I downloaded 3 times to make sure, I had a complete download.

With pick 6 games the new version probably works OK.

With pick 5 games it doesn't work. All tickets are removed and the error message says: 0 tickets left in package, 0 tickets filtered out.

I went thru every digit for position 1, result was 0.

You are right Carbob, with the settings like in your example, the filter does not work even in pick 6 game.
