Numbers Order in Column

Question About Numbers Orders Backtest Results

Postby CARBOB » Tue Jun 17, 2008 11:19 pm

Col 0, Pos 6; I did a preview and results showed 220 hits for database. Did a backtest, results show 183 hits. Can/will someone explain why I got the difference?

Carbob~ The reason you are not looking at it correctly is you need to treat each position as a part of a whole which in this case the whole would be column 0. Since you are back testing 900 tickets then your average would be 150 hits per each column (900/6=150). Now if you back test each position from 0-6 and add up the total of hits at each position your hits from 0-6 positions should add up too 900.

From your pics it seems that you are only loading 900 tickets... Are these past winning tickets or just 900 random tickets?

If they are past winnings tickets then your back test and package should match at every position. If not, then it would not match and what you have shown is correct.

I hope I explained clearly.

Hi Joe,
No difference. It still shows Version 101, the same as the previous plug-in. :#:

Hi Da80th,
It still does not retain position numbers in a compound filter when you exit
the program and then restart it again. :-(

Thanks CSenior, they are past winning tickets. They should match, that's what puzzles me, why aren't they matching?

"If they are past winnings tickets then your back test and package should match at every position. If not, then it would not match and what you have shown is correct."

Bob, please check the passed numbers with your settings, lets see, in first winning combinations, the 6th Number 33 would be at the last in column 0, and the second winning combination, the 6th Number 52 would be at the last in column, but in the next winning combination, the 6th number 45 would not be at the last position in column 0 because of your setting sixth position should be at the last in order in column 0, Hope this is clear, check your winning numbers, and test more, let me know if this is now clear, thanks

Joe, why not the 45? It's in the 6th Position.

Bob, please skip the 3rd winning combination which has 45 at the 6th position, and go to History differences tag, update and see the Column 0, and highlight the winning combination, and see where the Number 45(i,e 6th position) is, I hope it would not be at last position of the Winning combination's order in Column 0, and post the picture of the Column 0 with highlighting winning combination. I will check and make it clear, thanks

Is this the correct image? I have a feeling my understanding of the way this filter works, is very, very cloudy!!!
