Joe,

Thank you for the new filter.

The filter shows the average value of Average Strength for the game which helps to find the appropriate settings. That's good.

But how The Average Strength parameter for this filter relates to the Stregth parameters for each number in the Ticket Numbers statistics?

Joe,

And how can I find, or calculate, the Average Strength in Ticket Numbers for the last draw, if I want to remove it ?

Jerzy, here is an example, for the combination 1,2,3,4,5,6,
in statistics of Ticket Numbers,
the Strength of Number 1 is 5.46
the Strength of Number 2 is 5.30
the Strength of Number 3 is 6.59
the Strength of Number 4 is 6.75
the Strength of Number 5 is 5.78
the Strength of Number 6 is 7.39

so the strength value of this combinations is adding strength of all numbers in that combination, calculated as 37.27.
I use to set my combination strength from 33 to 38, I can able to reduce 300K combinations from the whole package, try this

Joe, how do you propose to find a way to calculate the average for all the winning combinations? Without having the stat for the average of the winning combination in the stats table, it's almost impossible to do this. If someone has any ideas on how to accomplish this, some other way, please post.

You could use the "Latest" sorted column in statistics and enter the "Strength" manually into spreadsheet columns for each number of the draw, and then make a column of the sums.

[/quote]I just back tested all past drawings set to the avg. strength and move the min/max settings to the best range that produced a passing precentage that I liked. for the Oh 5/39 22/27 has a 99.32% passing rate. The problem that I have with the filter is that it is nice but doesn't remove very many combinations. If you have used other filters like segment filters and/or WNH diff filters that are real close to the common occurrence of the real time drawings and use the Average Strength filter nearly no combinations are removed because they are already filtered out. Still it is a neat little filter and every little bit helps, Thanks Joe, for all of your work.

Joe,

If I add the Strength values for the last draw winning numbers, and enter the result into the Average Strength in Ticket Numbers filter, the same value for Min and Max (eg 34.18), no tickets will be filtered out from the full package. It is impossible to filter out from the full package any ticket with the last draw combined strength.

The filter works only when Min and Max have different values within a certain range. Is it right?

It seems that you need to have a whole number difference between the min and max setting. If you use a fraction it will not work correctly and will filter out the winning combination.

I have never worked with number strength before but it seems that what latest past draws you have set will effect the out come of the average and the min/max setting that should be used. I did a test for the last drawing of the Oh 5/39 with the latest past draws set to 28, calculated stats for a full package. The actual combined strength was 25.07, if I set the min 25 and max to 26 the jackpot combination was lost but, if I set the min 24 and the max 25 the jackpot combination was left.
