Average Strength In Ticket Numbers

Postby Joe » Sun Oct 26, 2008 8:01 am

Average Strength filter is now renamed as "Strength" filter with more added ticket filters like *Ticket Positions* and *WHN Segments*,

Please download the jar file and replace the "AvgStrengthInTicketNumber.jar" file, Thanks

Joe,

Your Spread of Line Filter is easy to use and very useful. It allows filtering not only on the base of spread of the line but also on the base of differences between the numbers at the positions. Thank you for that!

But I am not sure how to use the Strength filter. The strength of numbers differs depending on their position in the combination and strength of segments differs depending on the column in which they appear.

Could you give us a brief but clear instruction how to use the Strength filter, please?

Thanks CSenior,

Jerzy~ its simple if you see the statistics for Ticket Number, you can find the Strength value for each Numbers, I simply added those strengths of Numbers in combination,
lets say if you have
strength of Number 01 is 2.1
strength of Number 02 is 2.2
strength of Number 03 is 1.4
strength of Number 04 is 3.3
strength of Number 05 is 1.0
strength of Number 06 is 4.1

then the strength of Ticket (01,02,03,04,05,06) is 14.1.

Same calculations for Ticket positions and Segments,
Joe

hi Joe,

I think I found a bug in this filter, if the Strength contained duplicate values then this filter won't work correctly, either the wrong tickets left in package or it filtered out all the tickets. Can you please check?

Thanks again for good filter.

hi Joe,

I tested on CA fantasy five, these five numbers with 5.46 Strength each, so total is = 27.30

8 5.46
20 5.46
23 5.46
24 5.46
34 5.46

but when I entered 27 to 28, no ticket left in package. You can try this by run test on your lotto and sort the Strength column, then highlight any numbers with same Strength, then add the total and see if it works on your end.

Thanks,

if you go to statistics, Calculate stats, then you can find the stats for Ticket Position, if you want to get the Strength for combination 1,2,3,4,5,6 then you can add the strength of these positions,
same calculation for segment combination,
thanks

djdez, all you have to do is copy the .jar file to your EL4 Plugin folder, once you start EL4 you should find your average strength filter listed in the Filter Menu with the rest of the filters.
