Hi Joe,
Thanks very much for creating your plug-ins.

The Ticket Index Position Filter has a slight problem.
For the draw numbers 2 9 16 26 29 36 index No. 896739 if you filter all combinations of a 6/40 game you are left with 3 combinations instead of 1.

Even though the filter is set to pass 6 min and 6 max it actually passes 7 position i.e index numbers:

896739
1896739
2896739

I have attached an image of the filter settings.

ok Daniel and Paulo, I check that,

Another Bug?

Postby daniel » Thu Aug 23, 2007 12:26 pm

Hi Joe,

As in the attached screen shot I have to set the max to 7 to pass all the combinations of the NZ game, although I have only selected pos 6,7 and 8.

Shouldn't the min and max both be set to 3 to pass all combinations?.

Hi Daniel, this is not the Bug actually, as your settings, Min 6 to Max 6 positions are passed in the above examples , Index is not like combinations, combinations having fixed length, but Index has various length from 1 to 8 for 6/49 games.

If I am not clear, please let me know

If you need any modifications, then I am ready to change,

Here the "Ticket Index Positions Filter". bugs fixed.

thanks,

Thanks Joe,
The latest version of the plug-in is working perfectly!

Just a small thing. In Stan's filters, if you set the max setting lower than the minimum, then the minimum setting is also adjusted automatically to be equal to the maximum setting, and conversely the maximum setting is also increased automatically to make the maximum to be at least equal to the minimum when this is increased . Could this be easily done with your plug-ins?

Lastly, it would be nice to have a place on this board where user created plug-ins could be posted for downloading, together with a short description of each plug-in?

Hi Joe !

It still seems to be a problem with your filters as part of a compound
filter.
Trying to open a saved group filter -(with Ticket Index Posititons)
refuses to open.

So i have to rebuild the group each time.

Paulo, its not a bug actually, as your setting its filtering perfectly with Min to Max, we can like that only because of various length is occurring in Index.
You can see Index for Combinations in Package after Filtering the Tickets.
Please check and let me know.

ok Trust, I check my coding, till that, Please use separate compound filters for my-plug-ins, as I am new to this creation of plug-ins, taking time for finding where the problems are occurring.

Plug-in "Ticket Index Digit Range"

Postby Joe » Fri Aug 24, 2007 9:04 am

Hi All EL friends,

Here is a new Filter plug-in for you, Ticket Index Digit Range

Here we can set the Range of Digits in each positions and I have given Min to Max positions must Pass option.

Hope this will be useful to you all to reduce some more combinations.

Give a try and let me know if any corrections on it.

And I am expecting more ideas from all you guys,

Thanks
