Ticket Index Positions

Ticket index is a number which uniquely identifies the ticket in the set of all possible number combinations. For example in 6/49 lottery, the ticket index 1 is equal to number combination 1-2-3-4-5-6, ticket index 2 equals to number combination 1-2-3-4-5-7, ticket index 3 is number combination 1-2-3-4-5-8 etc. Ticket numbers 44-45-46-47-48-49 have ticket index of 13,983,816.

That means there are 8 different positions. Positions of ticket index value of 1 are 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0 and 1 and positions in ticket index 13,983,816 are 1,3,9,8,3,8,1 and 6.

The statistics then show how many times a digit 0 to 9 appears at individual ticket index positions.

These statistics are available in summary form and also as per-ticket properties.
