Number Distance Problem

Number Distance Problem

Postby pyst7lot » Sun Aug 30, 2020 4:55 am

I can't figure out why something isn't happening as I think it should. I have set all the distances with a minimum of 26 and maximum of 30 with any line with a distance of 26-30 between any number being rejected. However, that is rejecting at least one line which I an expecting to be accepted because it doesn't have a 26-30 gap between any of the numbers. The line I'm expecting to see from my 6 from 40 game is 8 14 19 20 23 37 - our last draw. The distances between each number are 8 6 5 1 3 14 11. It is the 6-1 (11) position which isn't working the way I think it should be. I can set the 6-1 position to maximum of 28 for my 8 14 19 20 23 37 line to appear but if I make the maximum any higher (29+) I lose that line.

6-1= 29
37-8=29

6-5 = 14
37-23= 14

I don't see a distance of 11.

Ah....I looking at 6-1 incorrectly. I'm going forward. ie 37 to 40 is 3 plus 0 to 8 is 8 which means I'm getting 3+8=11.
Thanks for clearing that up for me. :)

AND 40-29=11. :)
