help for creating a filter like this

Postby sagh0901 » Sat Apr 13, 2013 4:48 pm

How can i create filter for some this like this: let us assume a winning numbers draw is 1,2,3,4,5,6,7. If i break in 4 combination pairs as <1,2,3,4>,<2,3,4,5>,<3,4,5,6> and <4,5,6,7>. for each winning number i have 4 such combinations as above. for all wining numbers, we can have n unique 4 number combinations of those. I only want from package with atleast 1 and at max 2 of these combinations. i mean 1,2,3,4 can be mixed with something like 4,7,8,9 and can generate a draw as 1,2,3,4,7,8,9. I want all those cross-overed draws. Is that possible with EL?

It could be done with number groups but you would have to update it all of the time.
Group 1 (1, 2, 3, 4)
Group 2 (2, 3, 4, 5)
Group 3 (3, 4, 5, 6)
Group 4 (4, 5, 6, 7)
Filter as distribution, choose one or all groups and At least 1 to 2 in each ticket or At least 1 to 3 in each ticket or what ever you want.

but with number groups i need to do for each winning draw i have to break it maually and have to do do for one at a time. Is there any way i do it for all winning numbers(dividing each one into 4 sets and performing) at once?

I don't know of any other way besides quads repeating is rare. Go to winning numbers analyzer and click on Number combinations, in the analyzer you can see the pairs, triples, quads, and pentads that have hit and their occurrences.

With 7 numbers being drawn in the main numbers you won't find many if any repeating patterns. If you look at the winning numbers table an highlight single draws and see 4 numbers repeating you have to take into consideration the bonus numbers and if they are the ones repeating in the main 7 numbers.

After looking at the analysis it almost seems like it may be better to leave out the bonus number completely.

Try a complex filter with four 'Match Winning Positions' filters. In each filter tick four neighboring positions and select '1 latest draw, at least 4 to 4 positions must pass'. An in the complex filter choose 'maximum count of filters to pass: 2'
