Min/MAx differences and sums

I have a query when typing in or copying values into min/max diffs or sums text boxes. With EL5 i cant just copy or input values it rejects and reverts to existing value in the text box. It only accepts when i use the up/down buttons on the right of the text box. I sugest that it must accept value typed in or copied because when i have my own numbers to copy it becomes easier.
