Hello Stan,

On the new website, under Features/Documentation there is a link that is supposed to point to a printable format, however, this redirects to the same page - http://expertlotto.com/staging/en/features/index.htm#

Could you, please, look at this when you have a moment?

Thanks,

L

Thank you Stan.
One more question: is there a plan to update the strategy with the new features? I think that Bobes had a tutorial a few years ago, only that the new EL has a lot more to offer and the old tutorial is outdated.

Thansk again,

L

Hi Stan
Just wondering if you will be updating the printout documentation as new features are added to version 5 ( e.g.the minimizer), so we can see how they work,& save us having to take up your time asking you to explain to us how they work. If this is the case then how do we add it into our already printed out documentation, or would we need to re print the whole document out again? It's just that this would involve quite a few pages of printing each time.

yes, i will

i'm afraid i can't help you with this one. the printable documentation is auto-generated from application's help topics. maybe you can print the help topics one-by-one instead of the whole printable pdf and then just re-print the updated or new topics...

Hi Stan:

Have the registered version and have printed the out the economical 98 page PDF manual. Have also printed out sample pages from the in program HELP file. The point size on the PDF is SO small (gotta be six points or less) that reading becomes uncomfortable. Tried cutting and pasting to a word processor but then the color images are lost.

As for the HELP file the print is quite large probably 16 point. Is there any way of enlarging the print out for the PDF so to retain the Color Images and yet getting the font to print larger, say 8 to 12 point . A 250/350 page print out with Color Images would be just fine as far as I'm concerned. Please advise.

Hi Stan
I too have the same problem. I started printing out the help menu page by page, & found it would have taken a large amount of paper. e.g. the "introduction" page looks like one page in the help file, but takes two pages when printed out & comes out in very large print, so the total help help manual requires lots of paper to print out, even when printing double sided.
I prefer to print out the manual from the help file (as you suggested Stan) as I can then easily print out any updates made to it & add them to my exsisting printed out manual, as opposed to having to print the manual out again each time.
I also spent some time trying to copy & paste into word, pdf etc to try & make the print smaller, but no luck.
I too would very much appreciate your help on this one Stan. :)

if you are trying to the documentation from html pages (http://www.expertlotto.com/en/help/index.htm), you can easily adjust the zoom factor when printing. in mozilla firefox click menu 'view - zoom'

Hi Stan
I Use Internet Explorer, but I think Firefox works the same, in that when you adjust the zoom, it doesn't change the printout size, i.e. only changes the viewing/screen print size?? :?

well, if i do print preview in firefox there's a 'scale' button to adjust the zoom factory from 30% to 200%
