New development build is now available. It has one new (sponsored) feature (menu Package - Duplicates - Keep) which will keep in the Package only tickets that are present at least twice.

Stan,

With normal filtering each combination in the package occurs only once. Under what circumstances there could be any duplicates? And why the duplicates deserve special attention? Are the duplicates more likely to become a winning combination? How can you achieve it? This new feature generates a lot of questions.

When you generate random numbers with the maximum overlap then there can be duplicate tickets in the Package. I don't see much use for that feature either - in most cases you want to get rid of duplicates. But it was sponsored by an Expert Lotto user so I've implemented it...

Guys...

With proper use of the filter, it is possible to eliminated 100s of thousands of combinations, and you need to put it of course to creative use (use the options available i.e. mix and match the segments and the levels).

Here's two very basic examples:

At the very least, the most basic use would be to choose all the levels 0 to 10, 3 segments 6-12, choose 7 to 11 levels to pass, Reject, and select all past winning numbers in your lottery if its a 6/49 game (apart from the hidden draw(s) as you will be backtesting). Let it finish as it might take some time depending on the draw history of your game.

If you want to try something else, you could again choose, all the levels 0 to 10, 3 segments 6-12, 2 to 2 levels to pass, Past winning numbers: Latest 20 draws, Accept.

The above two examples combined together will apply to your game if its a 6/49 game, and will almost always (to be exact 95.9% of the times if you take into account the theory involved) remove lines from a package but leave the jackpot in.
:D

He's referring to the new 'Keep Duplicates' filter. Your custom Segment Patterns filter isn't available yet...

Oops...Sorry about that :D

I saw the new feature comment so I automatically assumed that it was my sponsored filter. My sincere apologies.
