dev build 151012

New development build is now available and it has a new filter and stats for 'Ticket Index Positions'. The new feature looks at individual digits in ticket index value, e.g. ticket 44-45-46-47-48-49 has ticket index value of 13983816. So digit at position 1 is 1, digit at second position is 3, digit at position 3 is 9 etc.
Ticket e.g. 1-22-29-39-43-46 has ticket index value 1626591, which padded with zeros is 01626591, so the first digit is 0, second digit is 1 etc.

Hi Stan,

Thank you for the Ticket Index Positions filter and statistics. I would like to test it, but there is a problem.

For OZ Lotto which has 45,379,620 combinations, the positions for this filter are numbered from 0 to 7 in the statistics and from 1 to 8 in the filter itself. Because of that the statistical data format is not compatible with the filter format. For example, the position 5 in the statistics is not position 5 in the filter. It causes confusion and creates unnecessary difficulty in using both statistics and the filter.

Could you use the same numbers for positions both in the statistics and in the filter please? Counting positions from 1 to 8 would be more logical and less complicated than counting from 0 to 7.

Regards
Jerzy

I'll fixed that in the next app update.

Will you have stats for those as well? Thanks for this, a very good filter.

I need to update my Development Build. MY Development Build tells me I have latest build. The Ticket Index Filter is listed. I see no stats.

Stan,

I have installed EL5 and in the Help/About screen it displays that I am running v5.7 and build 151012, yet when I look for the above Filter or Stats, I cannot find them. I have installed a database of past numbers and generated a package. ??

Hi Stan,

Well I've looked through the help files and tutorials but cannot find out why I have not got the stats and filter for "Ticket Index Positions". I have numerous other stats and filters but not these??
