Postby Maryland » Fri Dec 31, 2004 6:18 pm

Checked the skip numbers first but it's fine. Files are on their way.

Same problem here as described by Matrix and Maryland.
Strange that on 3 diferrent systems the same function ceased to work around the same date.
Any new ideas anyone?

i know, it was just the last week. there is a bug in the procedure that calculates the list of missing dates. a bug fix is on its way.

i recommend upgrading to version 4.0.11 as it also fixes the bug in the optimizer.
the problem with adding of the winning numbers may repeat again at the end of this year again but there'll be many more upgrades till then. ;-)

you can just download and upgrade the application library only if you don't need the help updates.

Thanks, i just wondering that redownload new version will lost my winner numbers history data.

If i can just download and upgrade the application library only and won't miss my license, that's fine.

you can also download and install the bare installation package which contains the demo lotteries only so it won't overwrite your lottery databases.

I have already download the new version to another folder and copy the Optimizing Filter,Context help to my old ExpertLotto folder.
I think this a good way to update and won't lose my permanent license.

But, I could not find the Optimizing Filter in New Version. And I found them
here.

you can download a temporary hotfix to fix the bug in the optimizer. the download link is:
http://www.expertlotto.com/files/hotfix/expertlotto.jar

copy the downloaded file into the lib dir in application's install dir (e.g. c:program filesexpertlottolib). the hotfix version is labeled as 4.0.10 build 401.

Aubrecht , is it ok?

finally, thanks again.

the hotfix was temporary only to fix the bug in the optimizer.
installation package for version 4.0.11 fixes the bug as well and should be used instead of the hotfix now.

i recommend downloading and installing the latest version again into a new location and then copying your lottery files from the old location instead.
