EL5 Documentation

EL5 Documentation

Postby dreamweaver » Sun Aug 24, 2014 2:55 pm

Hi Stan,

I appreciate and acknowledge the hard work that goes into making EL5 improvements and releasing
them in timely updates but what I would like to know if the accompanying documentation for use of
EL5 is also updated to reflect these changes and improvements.

Yes, when there's a new official release (i.e. you get an announcement by email) then the documentation is always updated to describe all new features. Are you saying there's something not documented?

Hi Stan,

For example there has been a recent updates to the following Plug-ins:

Automation
Experimental Filters and Statistics;
History Filters;
Lottery Database;
Online Update
TimMac Historical Filters

What I would like to know what those updates entailed and if they introduced new features specific to those filters and whether the EL5 documentation reflect those changes.
If not can you provide a formal tracking of either amendments, changes, modifications, new filters, before the next major release of the product ?

Updates to Lottery Database and Online Update either add a new lottery setup or add a new source of past winning numbers or fix an existing one.
The rest of the modules in your list are either optional or experimental features. There's no documentation for it, you can search this forum if you need to know how something works or just post a question here.
