After updating to new java version neither of Expert Lotto will open, Dev or regular. No errors show just starts like it's going to open then just disappears. Could it be the java update? Never had a problem before.

Few days ago I updated Java from 8.xx to 8.31 and never had a problem with E/L.

Yes, it is related to Java update. Reinstalling the application should solve the problem.

I tried to reinstall the program (Expert Lotto).
I tried to reinstall all versions for which should work my license:

Expert Lotto 5.0.1 released
March 6th, 2011

Expert Lotto 5.1 released
September 11th, 2011

Expert Lotto 5.2 released
August 5th, 2012

Expert Lotto 5.3 released
November 4th, 2012

Expert Lotto 5.4 released
January 27th, 2013

The result is the same - No errors show just starts like it's going to open then just disappears.
appears for a few seconds, the download window of the program with inscription in the lower right corner-
"Loading cached objects..."
and then the window disappears.

Therefore, I have no way to enter my license.
License that I have valid until 11.06.2013 i.e. to the version that was installed to the latest version of Java update:

but my license is not suitable to it.

I would not want to reinstall the operating system.

You can install the current Java runtime you have on your computer and then install Java version 7 and reinstall Expert Lotto.

My problem is not solved.
I have installed Java (Version 8 Update 66)
then jre-7u80-windows-i586
then expertlotto-windows-ver.5.4

I can not run the program even in shareware mode. The program just disappears at its start up.

the older version of Expert Lotto v. 4.5.7 works fine.

I recall having this problem quite some time ago - so, from memory, there seemed to be numerous versions of java to down load.

I now have as is indicated in Program Files the java version described as jre1.8.0_65 and EL works perfectly.

Perhaps you might try some java versions until you see something like I have above. Note that jre_7u80-windows-i586 is the install executable file - you have run it to install it?

Hi Stan!
My problem with the difficulty of starting the program resolved.
I completely uninstall Java Version 8 Update 66 and left only Java Version 7 Update 80.

Now I have another problem.
I can not update the program with my reneval license from version 5.1. to version 5.4.
