Hi Stan,

I am not sure if I have applied this filter in its intended logic but I am having inconsistent results
with the Neighbors Distance filter.

For example:

I select the follow criteria:


The anomaly occurs when checking against past draws that on paper they meet the criteria but do not
appear to win the jackpot. Please refer to image below:



1. Draw 7/3/2017 Jackpot PASS
With Distance 1-0 = 4
Distance 2-1 = 2
Distance 4-3 = 1
Distance 5-4 = 3
Distance 7-6 = 4

Resulting in 5 occurrences of Neighboring Distances

As per the Criteria defined :
3 to 5 neighbors distance having a distance of 1 to 4



1. Draw 28/2/2017 Jackpot FAILS
With Distance 1-0 = 2
Distance 4-3 = 1
Distance 6-5 = 4


Resulting in 3 occurrences of Neighboring Distances
in which I would of assumed should of satisfied the
Filter criteria

Once again as per the Criteria defined :
3 to 5 neighbors distance having a distance of 1 to 4

Throughout this exercise you will encounter more of these
anomalies where on paper they should pass but do not.

Examples of DRAWS that PASS:
1. 21/2/2017
2. 7/2/2017
3. 24/1/2017

Examples of DRAWS that FAIL:
1. 14/2/2017
2. 31/1/2017
3. 17/1/2017

An Observation around the draws that do PASS is that Number Distances that meet the Neighbors Distance criteria
of 1-4 keep the winning jackpot and are side by side.

That is:

1. In Draw 7/3/2017
Number Distance values for

Distance 1-0 = 4 & Distance 2-1 = 2

both satisfy the criteria and are located consecutively next to each other(1-0;2-1)
AND contain a value between 1 and 4 as per the criteria.

2. In Draw 28/2/2017 Jackpot FAILS
When the one of the Consecutive Number Distance values between each Neighboring Distance
fails to meet the criteria.

That is:
Numbers Distance of 1-0 = 2 and
Numbers Distance of 2-1 = 15

1-0 meets the above criteria
2-1 fails to meet the above criteria because the Number Distance value is 15

HOWEVER for this Draw the total number of occurrences where the Neighbors Distance values satisfies the Neighbors
Distance filter criteria is 3 ( as per the filter criteria of 3 to 5 neighbors distance having a distance of 1 to 4 )

In conclusion should it not matter where these values occur so long as the results meet the filter criteria ?
