General Probabilty question
Posted: Mon Nov 04, 2019 11:37 pmIn regards to this question, I'm aware that if, for example, you had a 50 percent filter, the odds of it hitting three times in a row would be 1/2 times 3 or 1/8 (.125). I was wondering though, is there a way to find the theoretical probabilty of, for example a 70 percent filter hitting 11/15 times? Basically, just hitting a certain amount of times, not necessarily in sequential order.
