Adding a wheel

Hi Stan
Seems to have been fairly quiet on here lately.............guess everyone is awaiting version 4.2 huh? Just wondering if you could pleaase explain to me the easiest way to add a wheel to Expert Lotto, using Excel & notepad. Mainly what I want to know is how to set out the numbers (do you use commas inbetween the numbers when using notepad?) & what Expert lotto needs to see once you have saved the file ,so that it will open it up in Expert Lotto. I tried a few times using excel but expert lotto does not open the files up. Many Thanks :wand:

well, the format for imported wheels is pretty flexible (and described in application's help i think):
- the numbers for each ticket must be on a separate line of text
- the separator can be either comma ",", semicolon ";", space " " and others as well
- save the file as "CSV (comma delimited)" in ms excel

the trick is to select 'files of type' to be "csv or text files" when browsing for the wheel file name in expert lotto.

Thanks for that. I think I have it worked out now,but look forward to more details,in version 4.2.
