Dual Core Optimizations

Many of us have Dual core processors and I would like to know if a future version of EL will take advantage of our 2 cores for faster processing of tasks in EL?

Ok, perhaps I may be getting ahead of myself as EL could be using multiple threads when running tasks already. Could someone with a dual core processor confirm this?

yes, the latest builds do support multithreading when filtering and for some other tasks as well. it is turned on by default (if you have 'pro' license). and if you have more than two cores you can fine-tune the multithreading for more cores - just search this forum.
