Bonus numbers

Jerzy,

In the Mega Million package generator if I set the bonus number range to a Min/Max of one and run the "ticket number range" for the maximum number of tickets I get 3,819,816 tickets. Is that number the maximum number of combinations that can be run from ther a 5/56 package without a bonus number? Because if so then it seems all I need do is ignore the bonus number. What do you think?

I don't play Mega Million 5/56 and I don't know much about this game.

But there are 3,819,816 possible 5-number combinations that can be made from 56 numbers.

This can be easily calculated if you have a calculator with the nCr function.

Enter: 56 nCr 5 = 3,819,816
