test patterns for value predictor

test patterns for value predictor

Postby stan » Sun Sep 17, 2006 6:27 pm

here's a simple excel sheet with repeating patterns that you can use to validate the value predictor algorithm. the patterns are really simple so the predicted value should always match exactly the actual value.

feel free to submit your own test patterns. it would be great if you could find a set of values that do repeat in some way but predictor fails to predict. i can then tune the algorithm to provide better results on live lottery data (hopefully ;-))

Hi Stan,

Actually I don't understand what the fields & values represents.
Could you explain what they are & how can I use them?
Sorry for the trouble.
Thanks!

if you create a chart from each column then it should be quite obvious.
you can use them to validate the predictor - save the excel sheet as cvs text file, load it into the predictor and then run prediction back-test for each column. the predicted values should match the actual values
