Calculating Stats....Bug or Enhancement?

When in the stats page and calculating the stats for tickets in the package, it takes a real long time for the first part of the progress bar to complete. The progress bar goes through three different processes, but the first process takes about 12 min.(build 905) compared to just a few secconds in build 897.
Just asking if there were some enhancements made or if there is a bug in the process. I'm running with java 1.5, and I checked my error report but no entries in the error report to indicate a problem.

do you have many draws in your wn database? it's probably because of the calculation of the new segment stats. you can turn this module off in the stats options.
(and i'll try to optimize this calculation...)

I have over 2,970 winning numbers in the database. I didn't know about the options in the stats page......Sorry my goof on that! Will try without segments stats and see if that helps.

Hello all

I comfirm the same pb with build 9.08
from 5 seconds i go to ?? 15 - 30 minutes.
i have >>3400 draws in the base for the test
my real number will be of 4506

as i posted before - i'll try to optimize the stats calculation. in the meantime you can turn the segments off. or select less wn draws when calculating the stats

i have 4508 draws in my base (French loto)
the first time i launch the calculations, the option "show stat for" can't be open.
you have to launch stats for a little numbers of draws (10), after that the "show stat for" can be open and you can go to options
after that you can deselect the segment option, and lauch calculations for all the draws.
Why can't you open this option first? is it possible to have directly the option? future build

i have see that if you open rar program with expert loto file , you see differents files resources properties.
if i translate, for exemple, the english file in French, the pgm will work in french?
example:
ActionDescription_FileFilter=Filtering tickets in the file... will be
ActionDescription_FileFilter=Filtrage de tickets dans un fichier...

why have you some "numbers", for exemple in deutch file
ActionDescription_Filter=Ausgewu00e4hlte Tipps werden gefiltert...

if it's work, i think you have to make some modification, to select french langage at the launch of program.

because i'm lazy - i didn't want to spend time adding 'empty screen' to each stats table
but the segment stats will be fixed in the next build so it should be ok

yes, it should work, the english is the default language. i'll add french resource file into the next build that you can translate.
but it's better if you email your translations to me first as some character should be specially encoded

the higher processor clock (frequency) the higher filtering/stats throughput.

expert lotto won't take advantage of the new multi-core processors - unless you run multiple instances of expert lotto at the same time.
