Hi Stan!
After retesting the Movement-filter it seems to me that the
filter demands that all the selected draws must pass the conditions
we set.I do not know if that was the intention-but if we select more
than one draw to pass any condition this will hardly happen?

To me it would make more sense to make the the filter work like
this:(If more than one draw is selected )
Check if first draw meet the filter conditions,if not go to next draw
in selection and so on.(At least 1 or more draw must pass the conditions)
So i think this filter would work much better
if each selected draw is filtered as individual draws.

i wasn't sure about this myself. the current implementation of this filter demands that each ticket must match all selected past draws. on the other hand you can soften this condition using option at least x to y positions must pass...
i don't have a strong opinion on this - if you think that it's enough if the ticket matches at least one past draw then i'll change it.

build 912/913 is now available for download.

on of the big/small changes is the possibility to back-test filters that work with winning numbers (match winning numbers, wn history filters).
i'll be grateful if you can verify that the back-testing works properly as it's not so easy to test it and i'm a bit lazy tonight... ;-)

Stan, in new build 913 the segments combination filter was changed to filter winning draws not the package. I was using it to filter the package, what good is it to filter the winning draws. I know I can use the statistics filter to filter the package just curious as to why it was changed? And I don't see any purpose to filter winning draws. Maybe I can be enlightened on this change I do have a thick skull.

Forget the question I'm just thick skulled :vogel:

well, it depends how you set the 'y' number, if it is less than 11 then the winning ticket will not pass

Stan, the save option is grayed out on my compound and group filters. I can make up the filters just can't save them. any ideas? The 1 filter I had originally is still there but can't modify then save it either.

maybe one of the filters have invalid settings, try to open the filter and check its parameters.

Hi Stan!
In previous betas it was possible to set the settings for "Segment 1 ends
at 6 etc.- and segment two ends at 6 (the same setting as 1.segment-in
order to play with only two segments instead of one)

But this is not possible in the latest beta -neither in preferences or in
the segments combinations filter. So can you please make it possible that
expertlotto accepts setting the same end value for both segments ?

well, i can but i think it was actually a bug in the previous builds. setting the first and the second segments to end at the same row means that there will be no numbers in the second segment. so combinations like x-1-y or x-2-y etc will never occur. why would you want that?

I prefer to use two segments because this obviously gives more consistent or predictable segment combinations -on the other hand
using 3 segments will filter better i suppose- but if we had the option to alter between 2 or 3 segments that would be better.
(Setting the segments at same ending makes the segments look like 6-0-0,5-0-1,4-0-2,3-0-3 etc.)
