Build 1024 is available

Unsorted Package in New Build

Postby CARBOB » Fri Jul 25, 2008 8:35 pm

In the new build when creating an unsorted package, none of the combinations have any numbers above 32 in position 1???? Does anyone have any ideas?? I know from past history number 36 is a very popular number.

Stan, it appears that it still puts 32 as the highest digit that can be generated in position 1, like ordered draws.

Carbob,

In 5/35 game there could be 376,992 combinations of 5 numbers arranged in ascending order in each combination.

But there are 45,239,040 ways of arranging 36 numbers in 5 number combinations in a random style, without any predetermined order (no duplicates of numbers in the combinations).

Does the new EL build generates all 45,239,040 random combinations that are possible, or just 376,992 but with numbers unsorted in the combinations?

Would 45,239,040 random combinations be compatible with current version of EL ?

Regards

Carbob,

376,992 combinations is everything what is needed for 5/36 game if the numbers in the combinations are sorted. It does not matter how these combinations are generated as long as all of them are sorted and present in the package.

But 376,992 unsorted combinations is a tiny proportion of 45,239,040 combinations that are possible if the numbers in the combinations are positioned at random. Consequently, it is not surprising that you cannot find any combination with the number 36 in the 1st position.

Stan, here's app.properties. Are they correct for unsorted, if so, it still only creates combinations with 32 in position 1 and it doesn't generate a full package.

Stan,

In EL build 1035, in the WNH Simulation Backtest I use the full package of 8,145,060 tickets with numbers form 1 to 45 and the latest 30 draws.

The panel, which shows the progress of simulation, shows that the simulator is working with 16,290,150 tickets. 16,290,150 = (8,145,060*2)+30.

Why the simulator works with each ticket in the package twice? Is it correct?

The simulator works rather slow (even though the computer has one of the newest quad CPU), but if it works correct, the slowness does not really matter to me.

Stan,

I am afraid that the Simulation Backtest works incorrectly.

When I load 8,145,060 combinations into it and click Start Simulation, the Simulation Backtest works for 3-4 hours and returns 0 in tables, with an exception of Simulation Results tab. where it shows In Range values (from 6 to 11) for the last 30 draws.

What is "In Range" and how can I check that the values calculated for the last 30 draws are correct? Why the Simulation Backtest returns 0 in other tables?

There is no help file for the Simulation Backtest so I would appreciate the information in this regard.

it isn't multithreaded so it's slow...

Stan,

Simulation back-testing works but the data are displayed in 2 stages.

1st stage "In Range": the result is available after 3- 4 hours of calculating.

2nd stage: after that it takes not longer than 1 hour to show "Details".

The screen-shots sent to you by e-mail.

mine seems to be working o.k , in much less time.
back test last 50 draws with sim file 129020 combinations in approx 5 minutes

just ran 9.million combinations ,took about an hour and results were instant on finish
jerzy , when you get it going have a look our lotto , look at results for 11/11 must pass +/- 30
