Hi Joe and Jerzy,

If it is considered as filters compound is OK. I proposed to work as a simple filter with fewer options and with the same power reduction.

For 5/39 is the same number of options, differ only number on the numbers of option:

Prime numbers => 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, 29, 31, 37, (12 numbers)
Numbers multiples of 3 => 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30, 33, 36, 39, (12 numbers)
Numbers multiples of 4 => 4, 8, 16, 20, 28, 32, (6 numbers)
Numbers multiples of 5 => 10, 25, 35, (3 numbers)
Numbers multiples of 7 => 14, (1 numbers)

Unused => 1, 22, 26, 34, 38, (5 numbers)

I understand you would like to simplify the filter.

Unfortunately, the filter you propose would not have the same filtering power as the existing filter, but would we weaker, unless you use more risky settings. And taking more risk not always leads to success.

Number 7 is a single number, not a group of numbers. Yes, it can be used in the filter. The setting: min 0 max 1, which means it would be as accurate as flipping a coin.

The existing filter is in fact a kind of compact filter. Each group of numbers can have a different filter setting, which does not apply to other groups. Removing numbers from the group, as you suggest, decreases the total of combinations in which these numbers appear. And, consequently, there are less combinations to filter out using this particular filter.

That's why I prefer the existing filter. But I do not mind if Joe implements the filter according to your suggestions. However, I will use the filter which already exists.

Jerzy, you seem to know everything about lotto and filters so I turn to you...Could you explain the Prime filter we find in Powerplayer lotto and some other I forget and how it works? Their definition is so badly translated.
