Joe,

I reported a bug in Index Digits statistics and filter (available in Statistics).

When I set the filter to leave indexes ending in 0, the indexes ending in 1 are left. If the setting is 1, the indexes ending in 2 are left. And so on.

Regards

Hi Joe,
Thanks very much for creating your plug-ins.

The Ticket Index Position Filter has a slight problem.
For the draw numbers 2 9 16 26 29 36 index No. 896739 if you filter all combinations of a 6/40 game you are left with 3 combinations instead of 1.

Even though the filter is set to pass 6 min and 6 max it actually passes 7 position i.e index numbers:

896739
1896739
2896739

I have attached an image of the filter settings.

Hi, Daniel:

I’m not clear for the Ticket Index Position Filter.

What is ticket index position? What’s your means about “For the draw numbers 2 9 16 26 29 36 index No. 896739â€￾? Where the index No. 896739 comes from?

What’s its use and how can I use it correctly for my game 39/5?
Thanks.

Thanks for your reply! Now I see the meaning about the Ticket Index Position Filte. However, I still dont understand that what’s its use and how can I use it correctly for my game of 5/39?

Could you give me a quick lesson about the Filter of Segment

[quote=Jerzy]
Hi Red Devil,

"Is it possible to have a plug-in for the sum of the 1st digit of the segment, the sum of the 2nd digit of the segment and the sum of the 3rd digit of the segment

eg:

c0 - 312
c1 - 321
c2 - 411
c3 - 132
c4 - 501
c5 - 312
c6 - 402
c7 - 303
c8 - 330
c9 - 231
c10 - 222

respective sums for the above example would be

1st digit - 3+3+4+1+5+3+4+3+3+2+2 = 33
2nd digit - 1+2+1+3+0+1+0+0+3+3+2 = 16
3rd digit - 2+1+1+2+1+2+2+3+0+1+2 = 17"

The filtering function that you are looking for is already available within the History Differences filter.

Number count = the sum of digits in the approppriate segments in all columns. This parameter counts the occurrences of the winning numbers in the appropriate segments in all columns prior to the winning draw.

The filter does not recognise default segments. Instead, you have to enter appropriate rows of the segments you want to filter into the History differences text boxes.

For the 1st default segment: 1 to 6.
For the 2nd default segment: 7 to 12.
For the 3rd default segment: 13 to 100 or 13 to 1000.

And you have to disable filtering functionality of Numbers in a single column by entering 0 to 6 into the appropriate text boxes.

(There could be only 6 numbers in a column in any 6/xx lotto, but they could be distributed in the segments of this column according to 28 patterns).

And you have to disable Even numbers functionality by entering 0 to 66 into its text boxes.

(There could be from 0 to 66 even numbers in all segments of all columns in 6/xx lotto).

However, I do not mind if Joe builds a new version of History Differences filter, to filter the count of winning numbers in all columns for the selected segments specificly.

Jerzy

Joe/Jerzy,

The History Difference filter is similar but not the same as what I have asked for. The filter I have asked for would be easier to interpret and analyse using excel. Once analysis has been done you can use min/max values for a mixture of overdue and best performing values. I hope that Joe can do something with this.

I've attached part of a spreadsheet that I use for Segment performance analysis, you may find it useful in understanding what I am after. ;-)

Hi, Red Devil:

Could you give me a quick lesson about Joe’s Filter of Segments Sum?

What’s its use and how can we use it for Pick-5 or Pick-6?
Thanks.

Will you be able to add Segment Sums to stats table?

Hi, BOB:

Why do you ask for adding SSF into Stats table instead Filter table?

In addition, could you share your experience for using the Filter of Segment Sums with us? Thanks.

Hi all,

Here is another Plug-in "Single Segment counts"

I have counted the Single Segments

For example, lets take CARBOB example. Ex 102 201 300 201 102 201 201 300 300 201 201

for this,
the Single Element 0 is occurred 14 times.
the Single element 1 is occurred 8 times.

and so on.

Here you can set the Min and Max counts for any Single Segments,

Give a try and let me know if any modifications,

Thanks,

Good Luck.

Hi, Joe:

I know you are very busy for EL developing plugins and your project now. Could you give me a quick lesson about the difference between the Segments Sum Filter and the Single Segment Counts Filter? Also, how can we use it correctly? Thanks.

Just a quick update. I was wondering if you guys had made any progress on the Cluster Pattern Filter which you were developing a while back?. ;-)

If I try to learn programming to create EL plugins it would take some time. This time would be well spent, but it would be a considerable amount of time.

I created a kind of simple statistics of cluster patterns in Excel, and it is possible to sort and filter data in Excel, but I do not know how I could help Joe in creating a plugin.

Cluster Pattern Filter seems to be difficult to implement and probably only Stan could help Joe in doing it.
